Why doesn my swordtails, platys and guppies eat tropical fish flake food?
Hi. fish will spit out flake food. That is why most flake food manufacture suggest you feed them flakes in the morning. Other foods like frozen, live & freeze dried foods latter in the day in smaller amounts. Fish can servive on just one feeding a day for a time. However for fish to be healthy and happy for along full long life they need to be feed at least three times daily. You will also need to do weekly water changes of 25 percent as well.
