Why Is Morbid Obesity So Prevalent?
A lot of people in the Western world are prone to morbid obesity, as we consume the unhealthy food and drinks advertised on the TV, instead of eating what our bodies require, namely fresh fruit and vegetables, lean protein, dairy products and drinking pure, fresh water. Fried foods of any kind should be avoided, as well as sugary snacks. We need to start choosing what is good for our bodies, instead of what satisfies our taste buds. Another reason why we are so obese is because we sit in the car on the way to work, sit in front of the computer at work, and sit in front of the TV at home, Exercise has no part in our lives any more, unless we make an effort to get some kind of physical activity in our lives. Exercise is essential in the treatment of morbid obesity.
