Photosmart Essential 3.5 will not recognize previous HP software or plug-ins. If you have purchased and/or installed plug-ins for previous versions of HP Photosmart software, you should continue using them with your existing version of HP Photosmart software. You can install and use HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 separately.
