The last I heard Obama has greatly narrowed the gap. Hillary needs to win big, and the Governor of Pennsylvania has conceded that it’s not going to happen. Hillary’s only real chance is the super delegates and she seems to be losing their support each day because they are veiwing her as a tool for the Republicans. Several who would have otherwise gone to her have decided (like Richardson) to go to Obama because he is sticking with issues and not being petty like Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton. Even if she won in Pennsylvania it won’t help her. There is a petition going out over the Internet right not asking her to step down and to get out of the way, this petition is going to her campaign and to the Democratic National Committee. So far there are a lot of names across the nation included on this petition. The debate you mentioned was not really a debate because the questions were not about real issues. The results will be interesting. I’m not a big fan of polling but even the heads of the research firms admit that they feel the “undecided” will be Clinton votes. If even a fraction are, she should manage a double-digit win. That said, Obama has dumped an unbelievable amount of money into Penn advertising — because you know, it’s easier to buy an election than to earn a win =) Between the debate performance, his choice of words in the CA-fund raising speech, her apology over Bosnia and the makeup of the state, I think it’s fair to say he’ll still lose the state but the media really did a nice job trying to make it seem like none of it mattered to voters.
