Will we ever see a superbowl of college football… that is a series of playoffs?

It seems everyone wants legitimate college football playoffs except for college football. The fans are screaming for it…the media is screaming for it…I think television$$$ wants playoffs. Lower levels of college football already have playoffs and they do it successfully. This year has been the first year that some of the college athletic directors/presidents have some out and said it is something they are exploring. This is a big change over past years when they said no way to college playoffs. It seems everyone is beginning to understand that the BCS does not work very well. Like anything follow the $$$$, if it means more money for the schools eventually they will find a way to make it work. I would expect in the next 5 years there will be a college football playoff system in place…it will probably start out with an 8 team tournament…eventually hopefully it will go up to a 16 team tournament. They can use the existing bowl structure to play the games…different rounds.
