  1. Why is nutrition vital? Nutrition and diet are a vital aspect of each individuals life, each day. The medications and foods that are ingested into the body have a direct effect on the body’s general state of health and function. Consequently, when the body is in a state of dysfunction, it is usual for at least a portion of the prescribed course of treatment to involve the person’s diet in a way.

    Why is nutrition vital? It would be very difficult to discover an individual who has not heard the saying, "You are what you eat." This is  an extremely accurate method to intepret the effects that an individual’s diet has on her or his general health, and vitality. An indvidual who is greatly nourished is more alert in each way and is emotionally better balanced. The food taken in has 3 purposes in the human body:
     
    * It gives fuel or energy.
    * It maintains body functions.
    * It improves growth.
     
    A diet is said as everything we take in as medication or food to please an appetite or an necessity. Nutrition, on the other hand, is how these medications and foods are utilized by our bodies. The method by which the food is absorbed by the digestive organs and changed into living tissue is named assimilation.
    Why is nutrition vital? A "well-balanced diet" involves foods that give all the elements the body needs to be emotionally and physically healthy. When our daily needs are not met over a duration of time, our bodies act by showing one or more of the following responses:
     
    * Lowered vitality
    * Lowered resistance, which can lead to disease and fatigue
    * Decay of teeth
    * Anemia
    * Other deficiency disease, such as rickets, scurvy, pellagra, and beriberi
     
    Why is nutrition vital? The needs of a well-balanced diet are called nutrients. The 7 major nutrients needed by our bodies are listed below:
     
    * Fats
    * Carbohydrates
    * Vitamins
    * Proteins
    * Water
    * Minerals
    * Fiber
     
    So be sure you are receiving a healthy supply of every nutrient on a daily basis for appropriate nutrition.
