Are the mobile sites available on any mobile phone?
To access the internet and to see all the sites on your mobile phone you need:
- A mobile phone should support internet access
- A mobile phone should support data transmission, like 3G and WI-Fi
- An account with data settings for accessing an internet server on your phone.
- Many phones already have preloaded data account settings.
- If your phone does not have this speak to your service provider.
If all this is there in your phone then you can access any site from your mobile. I am also having a mobile website. Though it easy for my customer to contact me easily. The Mobile Websites are very popular these days.
You need to make sure your handset is ‘internet-capable’ – ie that you can access the web on it. Most recent handsets do offer a web browser but check when you set up a contract that this is incorporated in the deal. If you have tried to access The Times or The Sunday Times on a particular handset and failed to do so, contact your provider and check if your mobile phone does have access to the web and if it is enabled.
