Can perthsise disease affect the knee joints?

Considering the extreme disorientation of the hips in this disease it can/would naturally effect all joint below and even structurally above. I’m sure it can put large strain on the knees and even ankles beneath the “crooked hip”. I would imagine it would also greatly effect the lower back and create a lot of pain there since the alignment of the hips is not structurally sound. One thing I’ve learned as a hardcore gymnast it that when one joing, socket, or vertebrae is out of place all joints above and below can be drastically compromised trying to compensate or physically “adjust” to the irregularly elsewhere in the body. I hope that was helpful or made some logical sense. But, if you mean with the “disease” create the same effect in the knee joints as it does in the hips?? I cannot say with complete certainty, but I don’t believe that’s possible, it’s a ‘disease’ (which even that term is debated) that only effects the hips.
