Can teachers at least try to make their boring subjects a bit more interesting?

Don’t forget – there are some aspects of a subject that the teacher’s find boring to teach, too! There are some aspects of a subject that simply can’t be made interesting – especially theory! When teachers undergo staff development they should be considering “what worthwhile activities will the students be involved in.” It may be that you MUST actually learn the theory in the first place. After that, the activities supplied should be designed to help you apply that theory. If you look at it from this point of view, you may realise that the teachers you have are trying their best to make you understand the ‘boring bits’.
