Could this mean my friends MSN Messenger account is being hacked?
Could be either a data transfer problem or hacking. If this continues for more than a day or so then it is due to someone hacking the msn account. If it is hacking then she should make a new email account with MSN and report the incident to them. Next for security reasons everyone should change their password at least once every 30 days and always use Strong Passwords, they are hard to hack and if done right she will not have the problem any longer. You can get password generators online most of them will make strong passwords for you and you can save them to a notepad in your accessories area and that way you don’t have to try to remember them, just copy and paste.
