Do pushups with barbells increase throwing strenght and are there any other excercises that can help?

For throwing strength you want to try to do some chin ups and/pr pull ups, it will makes your arm, shoulders and back stronger and is better then free weight because some of the strength you gain from it does not help you on the field.
