Do you buy vitex at a health food shop?

Yes, you can buy from health food chops, and most chemists. I recently bought Blackmore’s brand vitex Agnus-Castus at Nature’s works. I searched everywhere for it, supermarkets etc, but no-one stocked it. It comes in capsule/tablet form. Apparently it is great to regulate the menstrual cycle and get your hormones on track, and can relieve PMS sysmptoms such as sore boobs and cramps. Also it can make you ovulate sooner, this is good particularly if you have long cycles., and make your body produce more progesterone, which is needed after ovulation to impant baby into the uterine wall. I have just started taking it myself, and heard nothing but great things about this product. Apparently it can up to 3 months for it to work properly, but I have heard of women taking it in their first month and ovulating up to a week earlier – hope this happens to me (my cycles are like 36 days long….). I am hoping this product will help me too – I had a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage) last cycle
