Does anyone here know anything about spiders and how to repel them?
I usually remove cobwebs with the vacuum cleaner. You are right, they seem to be everywhere, although there are not that many spiders. I’m no spider expert, but I think maybe they spin so much because there are not that many flies around, so they have to build more traps. – Just a guess. You could always throw the spiders out into the garden. If you don’t like to touch them, here is how I catch bees (should also work with spiders). I take a glass and a piece of cardboard, put the glass over the spider and slide the cardboard in beneath it. Once you have caught the spider you can release it outdoors without actually touching it. By the way: in our house spiders live dangerously. If our cat Enya spots them she loves gobbling them up. My arachnophobic husband can’t praise her enough.
