The reason you would not take a bath, is due to the chemicals used to treat the water, keeping it free of bacteria, and keeping the PH levels normal. You would also alter the chemicals if you brought soap, or shampoo into the tub. These tubs are not drain and fill like tubs you find in traditional home restrooms.
