Can you take a bath in a jacuzzi tub?
“Jacuzzi ” is a name brand of tubs. Jacuzzi is often used when referring to over sized tubs with jets that shoot water. If you mean a “hot tub”, then no you would not take a bath, in the traditional sense. Hot tubs are huge tubs that keep the water in them over long periods of time, are chemically treated, and often kept at a high degree by a thermostat. Hot tubs also have jets, are generally located outdoors, and are often used by multiple people at one time for socializing. The reason you would not take a bath, is due to the chemicals used to treat the water, keeping it free of bacteria, and keeping the PH levels normal. You would also alter the chemicals if you brought soap, or shampoo into the tub. These tubs are not drain and fill like tubs you find in traditional home restrooms. Special chemicals, specifically made for hot tubs must only be used. If you are using a true “Jacuzzi” tub, you will be able to fill it, use it, and then drain it.
