No new assessable development is triggered by the Queensland Coastal Plan under the Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009, including areas of ecological significance. The Queensland Coastal Plan would only be considered where development was already made assessable under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and the development was listed under the section heading ‘Development to which the Policy applies for Development Assessment’ within the SPP.
