Has anyone given their child the flu shot even though they are allergic to eggs?

I am allergic to eggs and have bad asthma, the Dr said the flu would actually probably be less risky for me than the flu shot because some people can have a severe reaction to the shot. They wouldn’t even do the flu vaccine for my boys until they were 2 years old and they were in the clear for egg allergy. If your daughter vomited with egg whites I wouldn’t do the shot but that is me. I did get it for my youngest son last year because of his asthma after it was determined that he isn’t allergic to eggs but until then even I wouldn’t allow it.
