How Do You Become A Fighter Pilot In The Canadian Airforce?
Canada’s Air Force features some of the best and most rigorously trained fighter pilots in the world. Becoming part of this elite group takes not only skill and hard work but a few physical and educational requirements that you can’t avoid. Make sure that your vision is 20-20 or better (unless you’re re-enrolling in Canada’s air force, in which case there may be some leeway) since this is an obligatory passage point for all pilots in the Canadian Air Force. Speak with your local Air Force recruiter about the relevance of corrective laser surgery if you don’t meet the vision requirement. Enroll in a program that works towards a degree (at minimum a bachelor’s degree) from a college or university that is accredited by the Canadian government.
