Why are Canadian soldiers known as only sissy peacekeepers? Why have Canadian efforts in wars been ignored?
I am English, and I would never denigrate the Canadian soldier. Their bravery in war has been unsurpassed. I do think, however, that you ought to blow your own trumpet a lot more than you do. The Americans do; to hear them say it nobody else is half as good as they are. And by that remark I do not want to cry down brave Americans. What I am saying is that Canada should publicise the work that their young men are doing more than they do. To call Canadians ‘Sissy peacemakers who would not fight in a war’ is bloody disgusting, and only ignorant fools would say such a thing.
