How Do You Decorate Fruit Party Trays?
One of the perks of serving catered food at a party are the beautiful arrangements used to display various items. However, catering can be quite expensive, especially for parties with a large guest list. If you are throwing a gathering on a budget, consider setting up your own food trays. Often the most popular buffet snacks, fruits are easy to arrange on party trays in order to create displays that are both appetizing and artistic. Place a small sauce bowl filled with fruit dip onto the center of the tray. Arrange bunches of green and purple grapes to form a circle around the bowl of fruit dip. Cut apples, pears, cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew into long slices. Arrange these around the platter so that they emanate from the bowl of dip like petals on a flower. Cut strawberries in half and bananas into circular pieces. Skewer the strawberry and banana slices onto toothpicks.
