Price Pfister uses a handle-operated diverter valve for its shower assemblies. The valve is located behind the middle handle of the three-handle faucet assembly. Price Pfizer’s diverter valve uses a compression stem and a single rubber washer to redirect the flow of water from the tub’s spout to the shower head so that the shower can be used.
