Cool, delicious chocolate ice cream with a hint of cinnamon. This recipe was created long ago but should still suit modern tastes. • Grate the chocolate. • Place the grated chocolate into a double boiler. • Add the milk. • Mix and cook until hot. • Add 1 pint cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon to mixture in double boiler. • Chill. • Freeze in ice cream maker. • Whip remaining pint of cream until stiff. • Remove dasher from ice cream maker. • Fold in whipped cream. • Freeze until ready to serve. Serves about 10 people.
