How much whole milk should a one year old have?

0

My daughter turned 14 months old today, and she usually has around 18 ounces of whole milk day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. She has those in 3 bottles, right when she wakes up, right before nap time, and right before bedtime. I don’t know what the big hang up is about babies having bottles after 1 year of age. I brush my daughter’s teeth after every bottle, and she doesn’t fall asleep with it in her mouth. Plus, it gives me some cuddle time with a rumbustious toddler, because I still hold it for her when she drinks it. As long as he isn’t “drowning” is appetite for solids, I say let him have it. He just might be one of those people who drink milk all day long…..(like me!
