Is it safe for an infant to travel by air for 13hours?

It is generally safe for an infant to travel.Usually babies and young children have trouble at take off and landing because their ears get blocked. It is a good idea to give them a dummy /pacifier or bottle while taking off and landing. When you book your flight make sure you request a seat where there is a Little bit more space. Most airlines will also provide you with a baby bassinet,so that your baby can lie in it while flying.Airlines will also heat your bottles etc.It is important to prepare everything in advance.Might be an idea to prepare a separate bag for your baby with bottles,nappies/dippers, change of clothes,dummy/pacifier.Also,try and keep to the routine you would keep at home regarding sleep times and feeds.Take some extra warm clothes or a blanket as it can be cold at times.I would also take some basic toys that they might play with i.e: rattle.
