Should Joe Jackson be allowed in the HOF?

Shoeless Joe was innocent — period. First, he was found not guilty in a court of law on charges related to the ’19 Series. He was nonetheless banned by Kenesaw Mountain Landis, the then-power hungry Commisionner of Baseball. Second, his performance during that World Series was not a performance one would expect of someone trying to throw the Series. He had 12 base hits during the Series, for a .375 average. Three of those were doubles, and one was a home run. He also committed ZERO errors in the field during the Series. CONCLUSION: Shoeless Joe did nothing wrong, and was unjustly banned from the game for life. The least MLB should do is correct the injustice and reinstate him, so he may be enshrined in the Baseball HOF. EDIT — Chipmaker, I guess what you are saying that “all we have to stand on” are the facts, LOL. I’ll take that any day.
