What are bad side effects from energy drinks?
The effects of that much caffeine can be serious….it has been known to cause heart attacks and several companies have debated on whether to pull their ‘energy’ drinks from the shelves. Read up on caffeine. I don’t use it. Even though it’s legal, it’s addictive and chemically related to such drugs as cocaine. It’s an upper that constricts the veins in your brain and increases your heart rate. I’m not sure how much caffeine it would take to kill someone, but it’s a lot of energy drinks. Mixing it with alcohol, a downer, makes the effects even worse for your body. The ingredient you are worried about with the energy drinks is the caffeine so look up as much as you can about it. Ulcers and intestinal problems are associated with the high use of caffeine or energy drinks.
