Acutally, most of the month you aren’t fertile! So all these women are on birth control pills to avoid about a 5 day window of fertility. Weird, imo. Anyway, you are no longer fertile approximately 24-36 hours after ovulation, with the approximate ovulation date being day 14 of your cycle (though hardly anyone actually ovulates on day 14). You are fertile again about 3 or 4 days before ovulation, with the highest fertility point being 1-2 days before ovulation. However, every woman’s cycle is different, so the day of ovulation is different for everyone – but the time of fertility before and after ovulation is almost the same for everyone. The rest of the month is infertile. To figure our your own cycle, you can use an ovulation predictor. These are very accurate in showing whether you are fertile or not.
