What feed supplements/natural treatments are good for spooky/nervous horses?

I’m not sure about supplements, but sacking him out would REALLY help. Basically, get a bunch of scary objects (tarps, plastic bags, empty water bottles, ropes, etc), and scare him with them. You have to do it slowly, though, or he’ll come out worse off than he was. Take him in a round pen or arena with a halter and a lead rope on. Bring an object closer and closer to him, until he gets scared. Then stop. Wait for him to calm down, and bring it closer. When he gets scared again, stop. And so on. Eventually you should be able to rub the objects all over his body, toss the tarp over his back, and throw the ropes all over him. Just be sure not to rush him or he’ll just be even more scared than he was before you started. Also, make sure you let him walk or jump away if he wants to. If he tries to get away, just stop coming closer until he holds still again. If you try to make him stand still, you’ll just scare him more. Here’s a good article on it:
