Specialists are: Medical Specialists, Office Management Specialists, Information Management Specialists, Diplomatic Security Agents, Human Resource Specialists, etc. Officers are generalists who enter in one of the career tracks - Consular, Economic, Management, Political, and Public Diplomacy.
