I keep my handraised budgies with my handraised tiels and a Bourke’s parrot, however I only keep the same sex of each breed together (all my budgies and my bourke are male, all my tiels are female). My birds were all handraised by the same breeder though who raises tiels and budgies together to increase the chances that they will live together in harmony. I also have a VERY large cage which allows them all to all have their own space and stay out of each others way, lots of toys and a lot of food and water dishes in and around the cage. They also spend most of their day time out of the cage. When budgies breed they do become quite aggressive and can cause a lot of damage to other birds, even ones bigger than them. As you have a male and female I wouldn’t suggest keeping any other type of bird with them. As small and sweet as budgies are, when they decide to breed, or even just become a bonded pair they really are nasty little things and not at all afraid of birds bigger than them, and
