Since we are using only water (NO DETERGENT OR OTHER CHEMICALS!), under high pressure, to clean with (there is NO soap injector on our units) there should be no issue with run off returning to lakes, streams, or even into local sewers. The problem may come if the users try to clean out bilges or motor compartments with it. Oils and other sludge are not welcome most places. It is important that users know this with appropriate signage. At the earliest part of your planning, check with your local Army Corp of Engineers, or other appropriate local or state authority for their recommendation. Most areas restrict the flow of water back into the water way. Rather than building a more expensive permanent facility, another option may be portable pads that allow you to capture the run off, and direct it to re-cycle for watering plants or other purposes.
