What would make period late besides pregnancy?
Lots of things can alter your period. Since you’re not pregnant, it could be stress related. Other things that I know can alter your periods are: (1) gaining or losing a lot of weight at one time – like 15lbs or more, (2) prolonged illness, (3) certain medications [sometimes if you start or stop taking certain meds, your period may become altered], (4) starting or stopping intense exercise [for instance, if you started training to be a marathon runner, the change in your physical activity can suspend your period for a while], (5) you might be going into menopause or be perimenopausal [I don’t know how old you are but you can start menopause as early as 30], and (6) other gynological problems [may have something else going on with your system that only a doctor can check for].
