SilverFast version 6.5.5r1 is included with the scanner. A bug was found in this version that caused the exposure problem. Please update the SilverFast software to version 6.5.5r5 (March 26, 2008) or a newer release. The update to version 6.5.5r5 is free and can be done online at www.silverfast.com/get_update/en.html.
