A student says that he/she submitted the assignment to the Digital Dropbox before the due date, but I do not see it in my Digital Dropbox, why?

When uploading (sending) a file, there are two different options (buttons) that you can select. “Add File” simply uploads (places) the file into your digital dropbox to be sent at a later date. Adding a file to your digital dropbox does not automatically send the file to the recipient(s). “Send File” this not only uploads (places) the file into your digital dropbox, it sends the file to the recipient(s). Note: Students are not given the option to delete items from their digital dropbox that they have sent to an instructor until after the file has been deleted from the instructor’s digital drop box.
