The practice of Ashihara Karate focuses on employing direct and effective strategies during a combat situation. This is done through the use of body maneuvering & positioning called Sabaki, in order to gain advantage against an opponent before a counterattack is delivered.Kata in Ashihara Karate is non-traditional, but are actually routines of fighting techniques. Lessons are largely focused on contact training as well as technical applications.
