The materials used in Boreline are particularly resistant to abrasion and have been shown to resist particulate matter such as sand extremely well.

Polyurethane is a thermoplastic material which has excellent abrasion and impact resistance properties. During the manufacture of Boreline Flexible Drop Pipe, polyurethane is pressed through the high tenacity polyester jacket, simultaneously lining the inside and coating the outside of the hose.
