The University will require any member of staff who takes part in Childcare Extra to state a set amount per month that he/she wishes to receive in Childcare Vouchers to a maximum of £243 in a calendar month. For staff who are paid on a 4 weekly (lunar basis), you can receive Childcare Vouchers to a maximum of £220 per 4 weeks. Once you have agreed the amount of your pay or salary that you wish to exchange and the value of the Childcare Vouchers you wish to receive, this amount is fixed until the scheme renewal date (in October each year). However, if you experience any of the Lifestyle Changes defined in the Rewards Extra Scheme Rules the University will exceptionally permit you to either change the amount of vouchers you have agreed to receive or withdraw from the scheme before the scheme renewal date. In these circumstances you must complete a Lifestyle Change Notification Form and return this to HR Services, giving a minimum notice period of one calendar month in order to meet payro
