Am I eligible for a Concessionary Free Travel Bus Permit from Gravesham Borough Council?
You must be able to prove that you are a permanent resident within the Borough of Gravesham (this means that the Council Tax for where you live is paid to Gravesham Borough Council) and provide satisfactory evidence that you are eligible for one of the following reasons: • You are an older person (see table attached). • You are blind or partially sighted • You are profoundly or severely deaf • You are without speech • You have a disability which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on your ability to walk (e.g. problems walking 100 metres or needing mobility aids) • You are without use of both arms • You have a learning disability that started before adulthood and that is, a state of arrested or incomplete development of mind which includes significant impairment of intelligence and social functioning • You have been refused or are likely to be refused a driving licence on medical grounds (but not due to misuse of drugs / alcohol). Where and when can the bus permit be used? F
