The best way is to use a composite cable that has three conductors. These separate the sound and the video into video only, left and right sound channels. This will give you better sound and better picture than using the standard coax TV cable. Put a splitter on the coax cable coming from the TV jack on the wall and then send this signal to the TV and the DVD/VCR player. You will still receive your Premium Basic channels as before and the DVD or VCR will be on the Aux channel or a Video Input channel such as video 1, video 2 or higher.
