When adding the bottling sugar, be sure to mix it thoroughly, but gently, so that excess air is not mixed into the beer. Another possible cause is too much residual sanitizer in some of the bottles but not others. Make sure your sanitizer is mixed to the recommended strength, and that the bottles are rinsed if using bleach, or drained if using Iodophor.
