Any Simplified Procedures after setting up of the Unit?
Government of A.P. has taken steps to simplify the procedures for setting up of an industry, as follows: Submission of several returns to different departments is dispensed with and introduced one single simplified annual return to be submitted to the concerned District Industries centre and copies to the concerned Asst Commissioner of Labour and Inspector of Factories. Self-certification has been introduced in respect of Labour laws to all types of industries except major hazardous industries. Maintenance of number of registers under various Labour Acts. are dispensed with. Only two registers i.e., Attendance Register and Salaries and Wages Register are sufficient by the industry. Government formulated the regulated and systematized inspection procedure to be followed in the Labour Department for industrial units once in a year. Export Oriented Units are declared as public utility services and strikes have been banned.
