ARCs 2030 transportation plan has come under intense scrutiny and opposition as reported in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution this past week. Specifically, how does Henry County want to align itself with ARC, and is ARC helping Henry County with the actual transportation plan?
The Atlanta Regional Commission is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Atlanta Region. They are mandated by federal law to guide the transportation planning process in the Atlanta Region. • Is there going to be a bidders conference to discuss or review pertinent administrative and legal issues (e.g., insurance level requirements, workforce compliance, mutual indemnification, etc.) and next steps after the initial provision of responses to the RFP? If not, how would you advise us of changes or unknown information after submission of the response to the RFP?
