Are all EFTPOS terminals going to be able to process Bartercard EFTPOS transactions?
Whilst we would prefer that all existing terminals are Bartercard enabled, the reality is that the most updated terminals used by the conforming banks will be able to process Bartercard transactions. It is important to remember, however, that with the evolvement of technology, other banks may soon be implementing systems to accept Bartercard EFTPOS on their terminals. From the existing Conforming Banks, the terminal types that can be used are: Commonwealth Bank of Australia – XPOS terminal National Australia Bank – T7 and T7Plus terminal St.
