Are all memory modules interchangable?
No! Not only will not all memory modules work in all computers, trying to use an unsupported memory module my damage the module or your motherboard irreparably! Please don’t try it, even if the module fits into the slot it is not necessarily supported. To find memory modules for your computer run the system scan at www.crucial.com. If you don’t want to buy from them (although they are quite reasonable and very reliable) then just use the information they give you to find the RAM elsewhere.
