Are any medical conditions excluded from the electronic second opinion program?
Most life-changing or life-threatening conditions are covered, although these might differ slightly by program (for example, e-Cleveland Clinic and Partners Online Specialty Consultations might offer consultations for slightly different sets of conditions). The following conditions are not eligible for consultative opinion services: requests relating to infertility treatment; conditions related to temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ); elective cosmetic surgery; and gender reassignment treatment or surgery. GE retains the right to exclude other conditions.
