Are bb guns for hunting or in recent times hitting target?
As a kid growing up on a ranch I used them for both. If any one think it’s not up to the job they never owned a appropriate one. Mine would blow right trough a pigeon in the barn and the stocky corrugated sheet metal roof. Trust me my dad was not comfortable when the rain come and the barn leaked close to a sieve. I hunted rabbits squirrels and snakes and birds all the method up to being allowed to hunt next to my 22 rifle, pistol or shot gun, and then even after when I run out of bullets, me and my BB gun was rotten and running again. The BB gun of today are not the same as the ones 4 decades ago when they have some power. But the still can do the job next to a quality weapon. But to answer your give somebody the third degree either or, it can be use for both. The push button words are “Quality weapon” That my opinion.
