Are Children Allowed to Participate in Intro?
Teenagers may be enrolled in Intro if at least one of their parents is enrolled, though parents should consider whether or not the teenage child is mature enough to handle an intense, 40-hour-per-week schedule. While on the IHOP Atlanta Missions Base, or during any scheduled Intro events, teenagers under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Children under the age of thirteen may not be enrolled in Intro. At this time, we are unable to offer childcare for children less than one year of age. Children this age are under their parents care and are certainly welcome to be in class where and when appropriate. Two options are available for childcare for ages 1-12. During times when childcare is not available, children from 1-12 may accompany their parents for scheduled Intro activities provided that the children are able to be present without becoming a distraction to others.
