Are class sizes limited?

0

Class sizes are generally limited to 60 or 70 students, though this may vary by region and time of year. This is due to facility limitations and to allow us to provide more personalized attention to our students.

Thank you for the very kind words and link to my website! I have taught 15 EMT courses since July of 2001, am teaching two more currently, and have one of the highest pass rates in the State of Indiana for the EMT-B examination. It is true that many of the instructors in the IUPUI program work at Wishard. They are good folks and it is a good program, as are many other instructors and programs locally. However, please know that Wishard and the other EMS agencies in central Indiana hire from ALL programs. I have past students with almost all ambulance services locally and many fire departments. I will be teaching two EMT-B courses at Ivy Tech State College beginning in January 2005. A day class and an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Each class is limited to 24 students and lasts 16 weeks. The practical exam will be offered at the college at the end of the course, and you take your state written exam either downtown at the state office building, or at Wayne Twp. FD HQ on the west
