The answer to the question as to whether affordable cruises are a wine lovers dream is definitely not a guarantee. Considering the popularity of wine at all price points, and at many varied venues (baseball and football stadiums, NASCAR races), it is surprising that in the cruise ship world, wine is not playing a bigger role. Of course wine is offered onboard (there are definite restrictions to bringing your own wine), but prior to booking or departure on many ships, it is difficult to ascertain what wines will be available to drink on your particular cruise. Royal Caribbean Cruises publishes a wine list of the wines available on their ships to purchase as gifts for passengers or for passengers to order in their staterooms.
