Are data and licenses stored in the HASP HL memory secured?
In each HASP HL key, the memory data is encrypted uniquely. This is done automatically without developer intervention. During the protected application’s runtime, the HASP HL system decrypts the data when the application accesses the memory. This ensures that the memory cannot be read by hardware specialists and data and licenses cannot be transferred from one HASP HL key to another.
