Are distance learning models acceptable as part of the PPD provision?
Yes. The TDA do not have a preferred model of delivery, and all proposals are considered equally against the criteria for identifying need and reducing barriers. There is great variation of approved provision in this regard, and it will be for the provider applicant to demonstrate that whatever model they have selected has been decided upon with these considerations in mind.
